To optimally utilise the advantages of a fuel cell drive, a reliable supply of hydrogen during operation and the shortest possible refuelling times are necessary. Poppe + Potthoff has developed a new valve product that allows tanks to be refuelled with hydrogen more quickly.

A priority for the UK Zero Emission Development Centre (ZEDC) will be the development of a cost-competitive cryogenic fuel system required for the successful entry-into-service of Airbus’s ZEROe passenger aircraft by 2035.
