Tubular solutions provider Vallourec and green hydrogen producer H2V, a subsidiary of the SAMFI-Invest group, have signed a partnership agreement targeting closer cooperation between the two players, with a view to drawing on each other’s technical skills, market knowledge and development capabilities in future projects.

HH2E, Gascade announce pipeline grid connection agreement

German natural gas transmission system operator GASCADE Gastransport has confirmed the grid connection of HH2E’s green hydrogen production site in Lubmin on the German Baltic coast to the European Gas Pipeline Link (EUGAL Lines 1 and 2). HH2E plans to commence production of green hydrogen in Lubmin by the end of 2025.

Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory (LLNL) and Verne, a San Francisco-based star-up, have successfully demonstrated a cryo-compressed hydrogen storage system of suitable scale for heavy-duty vehicles, marking a first in achieving the required scale for semi-trucks and representing a milestone in high-density hydrogen storage.

Honeywell launches 100% hydrogen-capable diaphragm gas meter

Honeywell has announced the European launch of its 100% hydrogen-capable diaphragm gas meter. The Honeywell EI5 smart gas meter, which has been successfully piloted in the Netherlands, is capable of measuring both hydrogen and natural gas, providing adaptability across the European continent.
