Cygnet Texkimp, a UK composites technology company catering to the high-performance fibre and fabric industries, has delivered a four-axis filament winding machine to the National Composites Centre (NCC) in Bristol, where the machine will form part of a new manufacturing and test facility for hydrogen transportation and storage.

GKN Hydrogen, a manufacturer of energy and hydrogen storage systems based on metal hydride, has been awarded the contract to install two storage units with a total capacity of 500 kilograms of hydrogen for the Hydrogen Terminal project conducted at the Technical University of Braunschweig in Germany.
