Nord Steel has secured a €1.4 million contract with the EPC contractor MT Group to manufacture and supply hydrogen storage tanks for the upcoming green hydrogen production and refueling station at the Port of Klaipėda in Lithuania.

Höegh Evi has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the port of Port-La Nouvelle to develop a floating terminal for hydrogen imports. The hydrogen will be imported from producers in the Middle East, North Africa, and the Americas.

Lhyfe recently delivered 350 kg of green hydrogen to Géométhane, a subsidiary of the ENGIE Group, for testing hydrogen injection into salt caverns at its Manosque site in southern France. Currently, Géométhane stores natural gas in these caverns. This experiment aims to study the behaviour of hydrogen when stored in the salt caverns.

North Carolina-based OneH2 has launched new cylinder technology for 931-bar high-pressure hydrogen tube trailers. The cylinder technology, a culmination of several years of development and investment, operates under a special permit issued by the U.S. Department of Transport for use on roads.

Global Energy Storage (GES) and Provaris Energy have entered into a collaboration agreement to develop a gaseous hydrogen import facility at the GES terminal in Rotterdam, capable of importing both refrigerated ammonia and compressed hydrogen, with redeliveries into barges, rail, truck and the hydrogen grid (HyNetwork) operated by Gasunie.
