U.S. utility Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E) is launching a comprehensive end-to-end hydrogen study whose centrepiece is a large-scale project called ‘Hydrogen to Infinity’, which will blend hydrogen and natural gas in a stand-alone transmission pipeline system.

The Research Council of Norway is investing more than €20 million in HYDROGENi, a new centre for environment-friendly energy research (FME) dedicated to hydrogen and ammonia. The centre has enlisted a strong cluster of over 50 industrial and academic partners.
