ITM Power has announced it is partnering with Mott Corporation. Leveraging both companies’ expertise in science and technology, ITM and Mott are collaborating to further advance porous transport layers (PTL), which are a key component of proton exchange membrane (PEM) electrolysis.

Norwegian Hydrogen has announced plans for what will become one of the largest production facilities for green hydrogen in the entire Nordic region. The factory will have a capacity of 270 MW when it is fully developed, with a production capacity of 40,000 tonnes of green hydrogen annually.

Lhyfe and Capital Energy have signed a collaboration agreement for the joint development of offshore green hydrogen projects in Spain and Portugal. The two companies will work together to create hydrogen production sites at some of the offshore wind farm sites currently being developed by Capital Energy.

Dongfang Electric Corporation (DEC), a Chinese manufacturer of power generators, has successfully tested non-desalinated seawater electrolysis technology for hydrogen production powered by offshore wind. The testing took place at an offshore wind farm in Fujian province, located in East China.
