Everfuel and Hy24, which manages the world’s largest clean hydrogen infrastructure fund, have created a joint venture to finance the accelerated development of electrolyser capacity across the Nordics. Everfuel will own 51% of the JV and the Hy24-managed Clean H2 Infra Fund will own 49%.

Nel has taken the final investment decision to expand the production capacity at its PEM electrolyser manufacturing facility in Wallingford, Connecticut. The expansion will bring annual production capacity towards 500 MW in 2025. The investment cost is estimated at approximately NOK 260 million.

thyssenkrupp nucera and a European customer from a carbon-intensive industry have signed a reservation agreement for electrolyzer production capacities. Under this contract, the customer has secured production capacities for the manufacturing of standardized 20 MW alkaline water electrolysis modules.

Chinese oil giant Sinopec has launched its first hydrogen demonstration project in Inner Mongolia. The project will utilize the rich solar and wind energy resources in the Erdos region to produce green hydrogen, which will be used for the carbon reduction initiatives of the adjacent coal processing pilot project.

LONGi Hydrogen, a wholly owned subsidiary of China’s solar giant LONGi Green Energy Technology, has launched its new generation of alkaline electrolyzers. The ALK Hi1 series products have passed empirical testing, and their performance has been certified by DEKRA Testing and Certification (Shanghai) Ltd.
