HydrogenPro and J.H.K. partner on green hydrogen projects in Germany, Austria, and Benelux

HydrogenPro and J.H.K. have announced an exclusive partnership focused on the implementation of green hydrogen projects in Germany, Austria, and the Benelux countries.

Under this collaboration, HydrogenPro will provide its pressurized alkaline electrolyzer technology, while J.H.K. will serve as plant integrator and EPC contractor, overseeing project execution and ensuring successful delivery to customers.

The partnership targets green hydrogen projects ranging from 5 to 50 MW, combining HydrogenPro’s expertise in electrolysis technology with J.H.K.’s experience of more than a century in balance of plant and EPC services.

Jarle Dragvik, CEO of HydrogenPro, commented: “HydrogenPro is primarily addressing the large scale Hydrogen projects, but we recognizes that parts of the market are entering the energy transition in initial smaller scale scopes. J.H.K. brings the necessary know-how to use our advanced technology in smaller green hydrogen projects in the European market. This partnership enables us to offer a complete solution that integrates our state-of-the-art electrolyzers with J.H.K.’s experience in the EPC sector, creating a win-win situation for both companies and, more importantly, for our customers who are looking to transition to green energy. HydrogenPro is cooperating with Andritz AG on larger scale projects.”

Julius Kramer, CEO of J. Heinr. Kramer Group, added: “This partnership is a major step forward in advancing green hydrogen solutions on an industrial scale. Based on the exceptional energy efficiency of HydrogenPro’s high pressure alkaline technology, we see good opportunities to meet the growing demand in the field of decentralized, green hydrogen production for use in industry, mobility and grid stabilization, thus enabling a more sustainable future.”
