EH Group launches 250-kW fuel cell system

EH Group has launched its EH-TRACE M-250-kW fuel cell system, developed for high-power stationary applications such as data centres, microgrids, and back-up power. The system also meets the power needs and safety standards of the maritime sector and has already secured Approval in Principle from DNV.

The system is a plug-and-play power solution featuring the company’s advanced stack technology and AI/ML based control system. As a fully integrated power module, it includes the fuel cell system, heat exchanger and DC/DC converter for ease of implementation.

Modular in design, it can easily be configured for up to 3 MW of power within a standard 40-foot container. According to the company, its simplified fuel cell system architecture delivers a minimum electrical efficiency of over 50%.

Mardit Matian, founder of EH Group, commented: “Our team has designed a unique product that genuinely meets the operational requirements of large stationary and marine applications.”

Christopher Brandon, co-founder of EH Group, added: “This opens up a new set of market opportunities to provide reliable CO₂ free power to data centres, marine vessels, transport & logistics hubs, and many more.”
