Air Liquide and TotalEnergies launch TEAL Mobility, a hydrogen refuelling joint venture

Air Liquide and TotalEnergies have announced the creation of TEAL Mobility, a joint venture equally owned by both companies. TEAL Mobility aims to accelerate the development of hydrogen for heavy-duty trucks by establishing a network of over 100 stations across major European corridors within the next decade.

The new company will create the first transnational European network of this size – under the TotalEnergies brand. This year, TEAL Mobility plans to start operating around 20 stations in France, the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxemburg, and Germany from 2024.

The joint venture leverages the combined expertise of its founding companies. This includes technologies and mastery of the entire hydrogen value chain, as well as the operation and management of station networks and the distribution of energy to B2B customers.

TEAL Mobility is focused on marketing hydrogen to transportation customers, using a network of stations that the joint venture will develop, operate, and supply.
