Metacon selected as supplier for Romanian hydrogen project

Metacon has been selected as a supplier for a 7.5 MW hydrogen electrolysis plant for Elektra Power SRL (Elektra) in Romania. The contract value is approximately €7.1 million. The project contract is expected to be signed shortly.

The plant will employ pressurized alkaline electrolyzers supplied in collaboration with Metacon’s partner, PERIC Hydrogen Technology of Handan, China, together with auxiliary equipment.
