This milestone brings the Baltic region’s first green hydrogen refuelling station a step closer to operation. The project is funded through the EU Green Hydrogen initiative and aims to position Klaipėda Port as a leader in sustainable mobility and hydrogen infrastructure in Lithuania.
“Our engineering team worked closely with IMI to make sure the electrolyser production plant meets the highest standards for quality and safety,” said Vaidas Balčetis, Engineering Manager at MT Group. “Completing the FAT is a big step toward delivering Klaipėda’s first green hydrogen station and setting a benchmark for future projects in the region.”
The project is part of Lithuania’s wider energy transition and the development of sustainable port infrastructure.
