Under the agreement, Hygreen will deploy fully commercialised PEM systems above 1 MW in scale, targeting global markets with a standardised product line based on Bosch technology.
The partnership expands Hygreen’s system offerings and aims to accelerate project delivery for customers across sectors such as energy storage and industrial decarbonisation. Hygreen will incorporate the Hybrion PEM stacks into its 1.25 MW and 5 MW systems, supporting flexible, modular installations. Each Hybrion stack delivers up to 1.25 MW of input power, with a hydrogen output capacity of up to 23 kg per hour at 34 bar, designed for integration into containerised and skid-mounted systems.
“We are proud to partner with Bosch, whose Hybrion PEM stack performance, high manufacturing standards, and scale capacity will help us serve a growing number of green hydrogen projects globally,” said Benny Wang, CEO of Hygreen Energy. “Through hundreds of successful deployments around the world, Hygreen has shown its capabilities already and we are looking forward to start a new and promising chapter with Bosch.”
Bosch brings advanced PEM stack manufacturing expertise, while Hygreen contributes extensive experience in system integration and delivery. The company has executed more than 300 hydrogen projects on five continents, including installations in extreme environments ranging from deserts to polar research stations.
“We are excited to bring large-scale hydrogen production systems to market with our partner Hygreen Energy,” said Matthias Ziebell, Senior Vice President for Sales, Energy Markets, and Business Development at Robert Bosch GmbH. “Scalability and manufacturing excellence are core to Bosch’s DNA and key to the future of a hydrogen economy. That’s how the Hybrion PEM electrolysis stack by Bosch contributes to a demand-oriented and clean hydrogen production with highest efficiency.”
